Just going through one of those stretches where everything just...is. And really, there's nothing bad about that at all...it just is. Basketball started on Friday night, which is always good. I'm quite concerned about my throat, and my ability to last through the season. Last year's medical issues haven't truly gone away. Not to be gross, but I still have excess phlegm buildup, which I never had before last February. It's still there. Every once in a while, just a little bit will hit the throat in the wrong way, and cause a problem for me on the air. It makes me nervous when I'm on the microphone.
Regardless, getting things started at Illini Madness was great. I didn't get my script until minutes before the event, so I really had no clue what was happening. I wish that had been different. But we'll deal with it.
I'm playing a lot of poker. I reached my goal for October, and now have another goal to reach by the end of the year. We'll see how I do, but I know I'm playing much better. Which is a good start. I really hope to make my online total hit $1000 by the end of 2010, which will take a lot of doing. But it's possible!
Which reminds me, I'm really craving a trip to Vegas. Badly.
Is anyone else watching Glee? I think it's pretty awesome.
Soccer tonight, basketball on Sunday, and some poker Friday night. Busy weekend. Also, Glenn has some Vodkatastrophe or something planned for Saturday. I doubt I'll spend much time there. But I would like to see my Monkeys.
